Arthritis Pain Relief in Stuart & Port St. Lucie, FL

Arthritis changes the joint. Treatment can change how you feel.

Arthritis pain relief here is honest about the target. We do not treat the joint changes themselves, and nothing we do reverses them. What we address is the soft-tissue pain, inflammation, and stiffness those changes cause, which is usually what actually limits your day. In most cases patients feel a difference on the very first visit.

9 out of 10 patients notice a change on day one, and you will leave your first visit with a clear, honest plan for the weeks ahead.

You have been told to live with it

"It is just arthritis" is a diagnosis, not a plan.

The jar you hand to someone else. The first hour of the morning you write off. The weather you now feel coming. Somewhere along the way you were told this is what age looks like and sent home, which quietly turned a treatable set of symptoms into a standing arrangement.

Joint changes are real and we will not pretend otherwise. But the pain, swelling, and stiffness around those joints are tissue problems, and tissue problems respond to treatment.

First, the reassuring part

Wear on a joint and pain in a joint are not the same thing.

This is the most useful thing to know about arthritis: the amount of change visible on imaging correlates poorly with how much a joint hurts. Plenty of people have significant wear and little pain, and plenty have modest wear and a great deal of pain. Much of what you feel comes from inflamed, guarded soft tissue around the joint and from how load is being distributed through it. Both of those we can work on.

Some joint symptoms are not arthritis and need medical attention first. We would rather you know the signs than wonder.

When to seek urgent care first

  • A single joint that becomes hot, red, and swollen quickly, with fever or feeling unwell
  • Several joints swelling symmetrically, with morning stiffness lasting hours
  • Joint pain with a rash, unexplained weight loss, or night sweats
  • A joint that gave way, locked, or followed a significant injury
  • Calf swelling, redness, or warmth
  • Any new joint symptom while on medication that suppresses the immune system

A hot, acutely swollen joint can indicate infection and needs same-day medical assessment. Contact a medical provider or emergency care rather than booking with us. For inflammatory arthritis, your medical provider should be leading care, and we are glad to work alongside them.

WE GET WHAT YOU'RE GOING THROUGH

Which arthritis pain is yours?

Arthritis pain shows up differently depending on the joint and what the tissue around it is doing, and that changes what helps. You do not need to sort this out yourself. Seeing which of these patterns sounds familiar is a good start, and it is exactly what your exam will confirm.

"One side is much worse than the other."

Often: that side is taking more load, frequently because of an old injury or a stiff joint above or below it changing how you move.

What we'd likely reach for: chiropractic care to address the mechanics upstream, with corrective exercise to even out the loading.

"The muscles around it are tight and sore."

Often: the muscles have been guarding a sore joint for so long that they have become a pain source of their own. Very common, and often the quickest win.

What we'd likely reach for: soft-tissue therapy and dry needling to release the guarding, then loading work to keep it settled.

"It aches deep after I use it, and swells."

Often: the joint is being loaded more than it currently tolerates, and the surrounding tissue is inflamed in response.

What we'd likely reach for: SoftWave and laser on the irritated tissue, plus rehab to spread the load better.

"Stiff for the first hour, then it loosens."

Often: the joint and the tissue around it stiffen at rest and need movement and blood flow to settle. This pattern usually responds well.

What we'd likely reach for: Class IV laser to calm inflammation, gentle joint work to restore motion, and daily movement work.

Not sure which one is you?

That is exactly what the first visit is for. No pressure, no commitment beyond finding out what is going on.

Regenerative care treatments

Stiff, painful joints can respond to the right treatment.

Calming inflamed tissue around a joint, restoring the movement it has lost, and redistributing the load going through it used to mean three separate offices. Today that coordinated approach is available right here on the Treasure Coast, delivered by one team working from one plan built around your specific goal.

Why patients choose us for arthritis pain

One team, and a straight answer about what is possible.

Arthritis is where over-promising is most common and least helpful. We will tell you plainly what we think we can change for you and what we cannot, then treat the part that is treatable with the full toolkit in one place rather than sending you between three offices.

Care led by a SoftWave trainer

Dr. Kianoosh Ziayan, DC ("Dr. Z") is an internationally certified SoftWave trainer who teaches other doctors how to use it. The protocols he teaches are the ones our team delivers.

Built around a busy calendar

Visits run around ten minutes, most patients wait under five, and we hold same-week openings at both offices. Getting this sorted out should not cost you your week.

Honest about your plan

You get transparent pricing on day one and an honest read on what to expect. It is healthcare, so nothing is promised. We tell you what we see and adjust the plan as you improve.

Most arthritic joints are a mix of these, and the joints above and below are usually part of the picture. That is the point of the exam: we find which of these we can actually change for you and say so plainly.

What to expect

9 in 10 patients notice an improvement at the first visit.

You are never guessing what comes next. Here is how your plan takes shape.

1

We learn your goal

A case manager sits with you to understand what the joint is costing you, whether that is gardening, golf, opening jars, or the first hour of your morning.

2

The doctor examines you

A thorough orthopedic exam looks at the joint, the tissue guarding around it, and the joints above and below, so the plan targets what is actually driving your pain.

You start the same day

Where it is appropriate, treatment begins on visit one, so you leave having already started rather than holding a referral.

We build the plan, then keep tuning it

You get a clear plan and a home program about two weeks in, plus regular check-ins, because arthritic joints do better with maintenance than with one course of care.

Common questions

Have questions? We have answers.

No, and anyone who tells you otherwise is not being straight with you. Joint changes do not reverse. What we treat is the soft-tissue pain, inflammation, and stiffness around the joint, plus the loading that aggravates it, and that is usually what determines how much the arthritis actually affects your day.

The technique matters. Your doctor adapts to what the joint tolerates, and in stiffer joints that often means gentler mobilization rather than a forceful adjustment, plus work on the joints above and below. Nothing gets done to a joint without examining it first.

Medication reduces inflammation systemically for as long as you take it. Our approach aims at the tissue around the joint and at how load is distributed, so the joint has less reason to be inflamed in the first place. Many patients use both, and that is a conversation for you and your medical provider.

Most patients with arthritic joints do best with an active care plan first and then occasional maintenance, similar to how you would manage any long-term condition. We are transparent about that from day one rather than discovering it later, and the home program is designed so you are doing most of the work yourself.

That is a medical condition that should be managed by your medical provider, and we do not replace that care. We can often help with the soft-tissue pain and stiffness alongside their treatment, and we will coordinate rather than work around them. Tell us at your exam what you have been diagnosed with.

Ready when you are

Meet your doctor in person.

Start with the $97 first visit (a $250 value: consultation, full orthopedic exam, and same-day treatment where appropriate, plus your care plan and home-exercise program), or book a free five-minute call with a doctor if you'd rather ask a few questions first. Two offices, one team, same standard of care.
