Headache & Migraine Relief in Stuart & Port St. Lucie, FL

Some headaches start in your neck. Those are the ones we can help with.

Headache relief depends entirely on where the headache is coming from. Many stubborn headaches are driven by the joints and muscles of the upper neck, and that source responds well to precise chiropractic care, laser, and soft-tissue work. Our exam works out whether yours is one of them, and we tell you plainly if it is not.

9 out of 10 patients notice a change on day one, and you will leave your first visit with a clear, honest plan or a straight answer about where else to look.

You have a drawer full of half-used boxes

Headaches can quietly take over your schedule.

The evening you write off before it starts. The sunglasses you keep indoors. The way you have learned to gauge, by mid-morning, whether today is going to be a day. Headaches are invisible to everyone else and they quietly run your calendar.

Reaching for the next tablet manages the episode. It does not ask why the episodes keep coming. We start with a different question: where is this actually coming from?

First, the reassuring part

Certain headaches respond well when the neck is treated.

Headaches have many causes, and honest care starts by sorting them. Tension-type and cervicogenic headaches, the ones driven by irritated joints and guarded muscles in the upper neck and shoulders, are common, frequently missed, and among the most responsive to hands-on care. Migraine is a different condition with its own biology, and while some patients find neck treatment reduces how often their attacks fire, we will not tell you we treat migraine itself.

Some headaches are medical emergencies. Please read this list before booking anything.

Seek emergency care immediately

  • A sudden, severe headache that peaks within seconds or minutes, or the worst headache of your life
  • Headache with fever, a stiff neck, or a rash
  • Headache after a head injury, particularly with drowsiness or vomiting
  • Headache with confusion, slurred speech, weakness on one side, or vision loss
  • Headache with a seizure, or one that wakes you from sleep repeatedly
  • A new or clearly changed headache pattern after age 50, or with a history of cancer

Any of these needs emergency assessment, not an appointment with us. Call 911 or go to the nearest emergency room. Please do not use the booking button below for these symptoms. When you are ready for headaches that are not an emergency, we are here.

WE GET WHAT YOU'RE GOING THROUGH

Which headache is yours?

Sorting the type is most of the work, because the plans are genuinely different and one of them is not ours to run. You do not need to diagnose yourself. Seeing which of these patterns sounds familiar is a good start, and it is exactly what your exam will confirm.

"They started after a car accident."

Often: the neck took a load it was not ready for, and the joints and soft tissue have been irritated since. Headache is one of the most common post-collision complaints.

What we'd likely reach for: assessment of the neck, then chiropractic care and laser. Florida PIP has a 14-day window to be seen. See auto and whiplash injury.

"One side, throbbing, with light and nausea."

Often: a migraine pattern, which is a neurological condition rather than a mechanical one. This should be managed by your medical provider.

What we'd likely reach for: honesty first. We do not treat migraine itself. Where there is also a neck component, treating it may reduce how often attacks fire, and we will say plainly whether we think that applies to you.

"A band of pressure, worse after a long day at a screen."

Often: a tension-type pattern driven by sustained posture and guarded neck and shoulder muscles. Often the most straightforward to change.

What we'd likely reach for: soft-tissue therapy and dry needling for the trigger points, with corrective exercise for the load.

"It starts at the base of my skull and wraps forward."

Often: a cervicogenic pattern. The upper neck joints and the muscles attaching to the skull are irritated and referring pain into the head.

What we'd likely reach for: precise chiropractic care for the upper neck, Class IV laser for the inflamed tissue, and soft-tissue work.

Not sure which one is you?

That is exactly what the first visit is for. No pressure, no commitment beyond finding out what is going on.

Regenerative care treatments

Treating the neck a headache comes from, not just the headache.

Settling irritated upper-neck joints, releasing the muscles that refer pain into the head, and changing the daily load that keeps them irritated used to mean separate visits to separate offices. Today that coordinated approach is available right here on the Treasure Coast, delivered by one team working from one plan.

Why patients choose us for headaches

One team, and honesty about which headaches we can help.

Headache care goes wrong in two directions: nobody checks the neck, or somebody claims to treat every headache there is. We do neither. We examine the neck properly, treat it well when it is involved, and tell you directly when your headache belongs with your medical provider.

Care led by a SoftWave trainer

Dr. Kianoosh Ziayan, DC ("Dr. Z") is an internationally certified SoftWave trainer who teaches other doctors how to use it. The protocols he teaches are the ones our team delivers.

Built around a busy calendar

Visits run around ten minutes, most patients wait under five, and we hold same-week openings at both offices. Getting this sorted out should not cost you your week.

Honest about your plan

You get transparent pricing on day one and an honest read on what to expect. It is healthcare, so nothing is promised. We tell you what we see and adjust the plan as you improve.

Many people have more than one type, which is part of why headaches get mismanaged. Our exam separates them, treats what is mechanical, and tells you honestly which part belongs with your medical provider instead.

What to expect

Common questions

Have questions? We have answers.

Migraine is a neurological condition and we do not treat it directly. What we can say is that many people with migraine also have an irritated neck, and treating that neck component sometimes reduces how often attacks fire. Your medical provider should be leading your migraine care, and we are glad to work alongside them.

Some useful clues: it starts at the base of the skull, it is worse on one side, it comes on after long periods at a desk or driving, and your neck is stiff or tender to press. None of those is conclusive on its own, which is what the exam is for.

Your doctor screens your history and examines you before treating, and technique is matched to what your neck tolerates, which often means gentle and specific work rather than anything forceful. If your presentation suggests something outside our scope, we refer rather than treat.

Many patients notice a difference in the first couple of weeks, and what usually shifts first is how often headaches come rather than them disappearing. Long-standing patterns take longer. We track your episodes so the progress is visible rather than a matter of impression.

Long-standing headaches are common here and it is rarely too late to make progress, though older patterns generally take more time. The approach does not change: find what is driving it, treat that, and be honest at the exam about what we expect.

Ready when you are

Meet your doctor in person.

Start with the $97 first visit (a $250 value: consultation, full orthopedic exam, and same-day treatment where appropriate, plus your care plan and home-exercise program), or book a free five-minute call with a doctor if you'd rather ask a few questions first. Two offices, one team, same standard of care.
