Massage Therapy
Massage therapy that supports the rest of your care.
Tight, guarded muscles can undo the benefit of even a great adjustment. Massage and soft-tissue therapy releases that guarding, so the rest of your care plan holds. It's built into your plan, not sold as a spa add-on.
Why massage, done with a purpose
An adjustment can only hold if the muscles around it let it. That's the job here.
Tight, guarded muscles pull joints right back out of alignment after a great adjustment. Soft-tissue work releases that guarding first, so the rest of your care plan, whether that's chiropractic, SoftWave, or laser, actually sticks.
Massage helps tight tissue relax and move better.
Releases muscle guarding
Muscles that have been tightening around a painful area for weeks or months start to let go under sustained, targeted pressure.
Breaks up adhesions
Scar tissue and stuck fascia that restrict how a muscle glides against its neighbors get worked loose, restoring normal movement.
Improves blood flow
Increased circulation brings fresh oxygen and nutrients to tissue that's been tight and under-supplied for too long.
Calms the nervous system
Sustained pressure shifts the nervous system out of the guarded, on-edge state that keeps a muscle clenched even at rest.
Makes your other care hold
A joint that's just been adjusted is more likely to stay in its new range once the muscles around it aren't fighting to pull it back.

Common questions
The honest answers.
No. This is soft-tissue therapy built into a care plan, targeted at the specific muscle or fascia that's holding back your progress, not a relaxation service.
You may feel pressure or mild discomfort on a very guarded area, but it shouldn't be sharp pain. Pressure is adjusted to what you can tolerate.
It depends on your overall care plan. Some patients need a few sessions to release chronic guarding; others use it ongoing alongside chiropractic care. Your doctor gives you an honest plan after the exam.
We accept Medicare and PIP, and offer financing including 0% options for qualified patients. Coverage varies by plan, which is part of why we keep pricing transparent.
We build it as part of a coordinated plan rather than a stand-alone service. If soft-tissue work is what you need, your first visit will confirm that and get it scheduled around your other care.
